Indoor Climbing is rapidly growing in popularity, as more people discover this engaging and exhilarating sport. With the emergence of indoor climbing walls in large towns and cities, people are allowed easy access to an activity that was previously limited by the weather and seasons.
*With all our indoor courses equipment and entry to the wall is included in the price
Never been climbing but fancy having a go? During this hour session, one of our fully qualified instructors will take you climbing, covering the very basics and getting in as much action as possible. All gear and entry to the wall is included.

Used to climb but feeling a bit rusty? On the refresher course we concentrate on getting you familiar again with belaying and tying in. Prices are the same as for the one hour taster sessions.
Manchester Climbing Centre offers this 6 hour course (3x2hrs) to teach you everything you need to know to start climbing safely indoors. During this time you should learn the following skills:
- How to belay
- The basic knots
- About the different grading systems
- Basic Rope Technique
- Improve climbing technique
This course continues at the same time over a period of three weeks. We cannot rearrange or give refunds on courses once they have started.

Are you aged 14-18 and a regular climber? Do you want to be signed off to climb without adult supervision? If so, this course is for you! This 90-minute session is aimed at ensuring you have the skills to climb safely and competently in the centre, on top roped lines only.
NO INSTRUCTION WILL BE PROVIDED- THIS IS AN OBSERVATION AND ASSESSMENT SESSION ONLY!!

£15.00 per person. This includes free lifetime registration with every successful sign-off.

Want to try something a bit more adventurous? The next level is learning to lead confidently and safely. This course will also cover:
- Develop your rope technique
- Improve your climbing grade
- Learn basics about gear
We can also incorporate other aspects of climbing, so please don't hesitate to ask! We recommend that you are proficient at belaying and tying in to your harness.

Multi-pitch Technique - Learn the theory behind multi-pitch climbing, including how to set up belays correctly and better rope management under the guidance of one our qualified instructors. This is an ideal course to take you from single-pitch to multi-pitch climbing.
For advanced courses you must be able to climb a minimum of F5/F6, and have good basic rope technique.
