Kids Sessions

The Spiders £10.00*

This session is aimed at 7 - 12 year olds, spilt by age and ability. Run by one of our fully qualified instructors, children have the opportunity to work for Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards as they become more experienced in the sport of climbing. The sessions run on a Saturday and Sunday morning starting at 10:15 and finishing at 12:00.

We run on a 1:9 instructor/child ratio, so your child will be under constant supervision.

Parents can relax on the mezzanine, have a coffee and watch the youngsters wear themselves out.

The Scorpions £10.00 *

Aimed at the 12 - 17 yrs age group, we run two sessions a week. This is a great social session to meet other climbers of a similar age. Run by a fully qualified instructor, you will have the opportunity to progress from complete beginner to experienced climber, learning all about the rope work and climbing technique. The sessions run on a Monday and Friday evenings from 6:30pm till 8:30pm.

Young people 14 and over can climb unsupervised in the centre providing they have been signed off by one of our instructors.

* Spiders and Scorpions sessions do not include shoe hire in the price

Summer Activities 2009

Over the summer holidays we will be running extra Spiders and Scorpions sessions to keep your youngsters entertained for longer! In addition to our usual sessions, we will be running sessions at the following times:

Spiders:

Tuesday 11.00 - 1.00, Wednesday 2.00 - 4.00, Thursday 11.00 - 1.00

Scorpions:

Tuesday 2.00 - 4.00, Thursday 2.00 -4.00

These extra sessions will start in week beginning July 21st and run throughout the school holidays.
