MCC is currently involved with an art exhibition being displayed at Castlefield Gallery in Manchester. ‘Radical Architecture’ by Lancashire artist Dan Shipsides, is focussed on a sculpture replicating a section of the famous ‘Valkyrie’ route at The Roaches. The structure pays homage to the traverse and upper section of ‘Valkyrie’ and MCC will be there to belay for anyone who fancies a climb at the following times:

Saturday 3rd November 2-5pm
Saturday 17th November 2-5pm

There is no charge for entry, so come down if you’re in town and want to have a go at something a bit different! Harnesses and shoes are provided, minimum climber age of 7.

The exhibition is open 1-6pm Wednesday-Sunday,
so head down and have a look even if you cant come over for a climb!
