The Perfect Storm: Tim Emmett Presents a lecture hosted at MCC

One of the UK’s best known rock and ice climbers, Tim Emmett is not a man to stand still for long. His recent trips have seen him know no bounds and travel to places many would not be able to imagine, never mind consider climbing.

Helmcken Falls was one such adventure that witnessed Tim complete the first ascent of ‘Spray On’ and where Mountain Hardwear designers also ventured alongside him, deep into the wet, wild and extraordinarily cold natural lab in order to research the needs of a world-class athlete. From this came the Seraction Collection, the ultimate mixed rock and ice climbing range from Mountain Hardwear.

More recent trips have taken Tim to Iceland, Pakistan and Canada, in search of new routes, ice and base jumping exit points and a new taste of adrenaline. Through October and November, Tim will bring to life these wild and creative routes through a series of talks around the UK, in partnership with Mountain Hardwear.
