Class descriptions
Vinyasa and Yin Yoga
Rejuvenating
class that is 2/3 open level vinyasa (flow) & 1/3 yin postures.
There is also a strong focus on integrated movement, which is
invaluable to climbers. Yin yoga allows deeper release in the joints
and connective tissues and will make new types of movement available to
you. All levels welcome.
Vinyasa Flow class
Moderately paced vinyasa class with a focus on flowing movement and
alignment in standing poses, arm balances, backbends, twists, seated
poses and inversions. A dynamic and invigorating class with
modifications offered for beginners and those with certain conditions.
All levels welcome.
Dynamic Flow
Often
based on the traditional Ashtanga system, a dynamic class in a flowing
style. The first hour of the class is one where you keep moving!
Followed by 30 minutes of cooling down and restorative postures. All
levels welcome, however previous yoga experience is recommended.
The
teachers
All
teachers are fully certified with internationally recognized
organizations - the British Wheel of Yoga or the Yoga Alliance. Each
teacher will be bringing their own style to the class.

Possible class in the future: "Yoga for Experienced Climbers"
Please
let us know if you are interested in attending such a class. This is
not currently being offered becase it would not be for the masses - it
would involve subtle and sophisticated bodywork which the more
experienced climber would appreciate as a tool for furthering their
climbing development. Mature climbers ofren have developed a certain
physique over the years, one with certain needs, and this would be a
class for a niche demographic. If you think this is something you would
want to be involved in, please call us and we will then tailor a class
to meet your needs and schedules.
